Start Excel
Open the Connection dialog: SQL*XL | Connect...
Start the Data Link Properties wizard
Choose the Provider Pervasive OLE DB Provider.
Data Source:
Enter the database name.
I used sampledata because that is one of the databases that was installed with a
trial version of Pervasive PSQL v10
Location:
Enter ther name of your server. I a blank as I
am running the database locally. Localhost would have also worked.
Always use the Test Connection button before you continue
